Overview

A seasoned trial lawyer and advocate in arbitration with more than three decades of experience, William Hill brings his perseverance and determination to resolve matters quickly, efficiently and fairly.

William is the first member of the Florida Bar to achieve Board Certification in both International Litigation and Arbitration as well as Business Litigation.  William handles arbitrations in a variety of industries, including banking and financial services, technology, intellectual property real estate, aviation, manufacturing, employment, retail and government. He has arbitrated cases involving companies ranging from technology startups to international M&A disputes between transnational public companies.

William is a member of the AAA National Panel of Neutrals and the International Center for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) Panel of Arbitrators.  He has written numerous articles and lectures frequently on arbitration issues, is a charter member of the Miami International Arbitration Society, and the co-chair of the ABA International Law Section International Arbitration Training committee.

After graduating from Yale Law School, where he won the Barristers Union Mock Trial competition and served as editor of the Yale Journal of International Law, William clerked for highly respected Judge William Hoeveler of the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.  He has since maintained a national and international practice based in Miami.  Active in in the community, he was the chairman of the board of the Florida Grand Opera from 2012-16.
